Sheila Buffan:The Flooring Barn
Sheila & Wayne Buffan entered the flooring industry 30 years ago after transitioning from careers in the logistics industry. Their first location, The Carpet Barn, opened in Bolton, Ontario followed soon after by a second location in Uxbridge. As their business grew and adapted, they changed the name to "The Flooring Barn" to reflect their expansion into all types of floor coverings. Sheila and Wayne's son, Brent Buffan, now works with Sheila providing flooring solutions for all projects and budgets. They pride themselves on offering creative, end-to-end solutions for customers throughout Ontario.
PACE Credit Union, now part of Alterna Savings, has been the Buffan's financial partner for over 30 years. The flexible support offered by the credit union has allowed them to support Sheila and Brent through the change, growth and challenges that go along with running a successful small business.
